Chocolate Dinosaurs [21 Feb 2004|10:39pm]

That totally amazing GIANT CHOCOLATE T-REX is on sale again for Easter! Simply seeing it grinning on the shelf with its horrendously high price made me completely excuse the fact that it's still February. I'm going to save up some money and give in to the joys of consumerism. I highly suggest others do the same (even those with the chocolate allergies).

I spent the past week watching BBC's 'Walking With Dinosaurs' on 2-casettes of VHS glory. It's the biggest orgasm of your LIFE. My pants went through a beating, I'm telling you. The best part was when the dinosaurs EVOLVED and ROARED and ATE EACH OTHER. Did you know that the female Diplodocus had to withstand an extra 10 tonnes while mating? Holy crap, best production ever. Kenneth Branagh's narration of it all is what finally throws you over the edge.

I'm so thankful such beasts roamed the Earth. The merchandising is incredible.

I love dinosaurs. Its how other people identify me, I can't count the number of times people have said to me, "You're the girl who wants to be a dinosaur?!?!" So I thought it was finally time to join a dinosaur community.

Review of Popcap's "Dynomite" [26 Jan 2004|09:23pm]

http://www.PopCap.com has come out with several awesome games. This is one of them.

How can I begin without sounding like a giddy schoolgirl?

OMG I CANT!!!!!!!!1

As you can see, I am neatly shooting the green egg into its slot. What happens when you shoot three or more eggs of a different colour is they SMASH APART!!

Basically, it's like Bust-A-Move. Except 2x more better because

- it's about dinosaurs
- you don't need a quarter to play!

Seriously, if you're a true dino fan, check this out. And if you're not a dino fan, don't even bother, just crawl back into the hole from whence you came.

Here's a tip from a seasoned player (64390 pts, ranked Supersaurus, baby!): Always hit the Whirly or else he will add another colour egg to your mix. HIT THE WHIRLY.

As you all may or may not know, I am the president of the Holy Cross High School Dinosaur And Other Prehistoric Creature Society. As such, we are gifted to have the lovely S. Mantyka as our Teacher Supervisor. For this, we are grateful.

S. Mantyka is known throughout the international dinosaur social circles as "Diplodocus", but until very recently, we thought it was just a name picked at random.

Through research, I have found that it is, in fact, not. There is a very good reason that S. Mantyka is named "Diplodocus" and not, say "Hypsilophodon". That reason is this:

I once walked with dinosaurs [18 Jan 2004|10:19pm]

Tipos de dinosaurs is a page of common dinosaurs written in Spanish. I do not speak or read Spanish, but I thought the pictures and the names were sort of pretty.

Welcome to 'O Ultrasaurus', inspired by the lack of dinosaur communities and the Holy Cross High School Dinosaur And Other Prehistoric Creature Society, a high school dino-club founded by eatmyphotons.

My name is Brittany and I like dinosaurs. A lot. I also have a story to tell about a time when dinosaurs weren't extinct. My story takes place around eleven years ago, when I looked like this:

I would call to the dinosaurs, and they would come. Up from the water and out from the trees, away from the smelly highway to me. I would gaze for hours at their beauty while unsuspecting parents took photographs.

This journey contains myself, my older brother, and on occasion, my fat, smelly father.

Continue the journey through DRUMHELLERCollapse )

Go forth to CALGARYCollapse )

I'm not sure if the dinos have become extinct yet or not, but there's a small peek into my past. I have a crapload of other dino pictures from the same trip I could have posted, but my scanner decided it would like to stop working.

Anyway, I LOVE DINOSAURS!
